Therapeutic Coaching: A Compassionate Approach to Lasting Change

 

Over the past year, my journey into Therapeutic Coaching has been truly transformative—not just for my clients but for myself as well. I’ve learned that real change happens when we create space for self-reflection, when we feel truly heard and when we recognise that the answers we seek are already within us. Through working with a range of clients, I’ve seen how powerful it can be to simply listen, reflect their words back and hold space for them to process their thoughts. I used to think coaching was about asking the "right" questions, but I’ve realised it’s about empowering my clients to uncover their own insights and move forward with confidence.

💡 What is Therapeutic Coaching?
Therapeutic Coaching is more than just goal setting—it’s about uncovering the deeper patterns and beliefs that shape your decisions and actions. It’s a space where you can work through challenges, gain self-awareness and find clarity in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. A key part of this approach is somatic work—tuning into your body and its sensations, to understand and release emotional blocks. Our bodies often hold onto stress, trauma and tension in ways our minds may not immediately recognise and by connecting with these sensations, we can process emotions more effectively and find new ways to move forward.

🌿 My Approach
This journey has also been deeply personal for me. I’ve realised how my own patterns in my personal relationships were keeping me stuck in a cycle where neither side wanted to change. Through being coached by my peers, I was able to see my behaviour objectively and understand that if I wanted change, I had to be the one to shift first. This was a major breakthrough for me, and it’s something I now help my clients work through in their own lives.

📍 Pricing & Booking

Therapeutic coaching is available for £95 per month via direct debit, with one hour sessions held fortnightly. The schedule includes 2 week breaks over Easter and Christmas, summer (4 weeks), and half terms. A minimum commitment of 3 months ensures consistency while allowing time and space for meaningful progress.

The alternative option is a 2 hour session combining Therapeutic Coaching and Hawaiian Massage (which includes meditation), held once a month. This requires a minimum 4-month commitment, with a monthly direct debit of £95.
